About
Tems released her acclaimed debut EP, For Broken Ears, in 2020. She got her big break in the same year when she featured on Wizkid's global hit, "Essence" off his Made in Lagos album. She has gone further to collaborate with Future, Drake, Rihanna and Beyoncé. She is a recipient of several awards including a Grammy Award, two NAACP Image Awards, two BET Awards and two Soul Train Music Awards. For her contributions on "Lift Me Up" by Rihanna, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. Tems is the first female Nigerian artiste to win a Grammy, the first female African artiste to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the first to debut atop the chart.
